Psalm 1

Psalm 1:1 That person is fortunate who does not walk at the advice of wicked ones and on the sinners’ road he does not stand and in the critics’ chair he does not sit.

Psalm 1:2 But his treasure is doing what Yahveh[1] has taught and he keeps thinking about Yahveh’s instructions daily and nightly.

Psalm 1:3 He is like a tree planted opposite irrigation channels. It bears its seasonal fruit. Its leaf does not shrivel. Whatever it does will be successful.
Psalm 1:4 It isn’t like that with the wicked ones. Instead, they are like husks that the wind will blow away.

Psalm 1:5 That’s why the wicked ones will not survive the judgment. Neither will sinners when the righteous ones are gathered.

Psalm 1:6 Because Yahveh knows the journey of the righteous ones. But the wicked ones are on the road to destruction
